The Mediator's

1Tim. 2:5 For [there is] one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Most of us have heard or come across this verse many times. I’d like to share with you what Strong’s says about the biblical usage of this word. The word is mediator.   1)   one who intervenes between two, either in order to make or restore peace and friendship, or form a compact, or for ratifying a covenant    2)   a medium of communication, arbitrator Some have suggested it could be translated defense attorney. To mediate means: to   settle   (disputes,   strikes,   etc.)   as   an   intermediary   between parties;   reconcile. Currently Jesus Christ is our mediator. If there is a dispute between God and us he is between God and us pleading our case. As far as it goes he is the best one to mediate between us and God because he has already paid the consequence of our failures. Those times we have not done...
